We have learned about four types of sentences:
- Declarative Sentence – a telling sentence; makes a statement; ends with a period
- Interrogative Sentence – an asking sentence; a question; ends with a question mark
- Imperative Sentence – a command sentence; begins with a verb; ends with a period or an exclamation point
- Exclamatory Sentence – shows happy excitement or worried excitement; ends with an exclamation point
