19. The Exclamatory Sentence – How Exciting!

An exclamatory sentence shows excitement. Always put an exclamation point (!) at the end of an exclamatory sentence.

Here are some exclamatory sentences. These sentences show happy excitement.

  • We are going on vacation to the mountains!
  • I just got my driver’s license!
  • My graduation is on Saturday!

Sometimes an exclamatory sentence shows excited fear or concern. Look at these exclamatory sentences:
