1257. Action Verbs with Present Tense

The word tense means time. When we talk about a verb being in present tense, we mean that the verb is happening in the present time.

Here are some examples of verbs in present tense:
Bob runs every morning.
Sarah reads a book every week.
Mom makes breakfast for us before school starts.

Use the present tense of an action verb when the action is happening right now.
