563. Past Tense Verbs that Change One Letter

Not all verbs add -ed to make the past tense. Some verbs change one letter of the present tense verb to make a past tense verb. Look at these examples:
Today I know my ABCs. Yesterday I knew my ABCs.
Today I swim in my pool. Yesterday I swam in my pool.
Every summer I grow a vegetable garden. Last year I grew a vegetable garden.
