1166. Plural Nouns – add -s

A noun names a person, a place, a thing, or an idea. A singular noun names one person, place, thing, or idea. If there is more than one, it is called a plural noun. A plural noun is often formed by adding an -s. Look at these examples:

Singular noun: dog
Plural noun: dogs

Singular noun: horse
Plural noun: horses

Many nouns add –s to become plural.
