A question mark (?) is used at the end of a complete thought that is a question – an asking sentence.
Certain words are used to begin a question: are, did, do, will, why, where, when, what, how, should, would
Here are some examples of sentences that ask a question:
Are you going to the football game tonight?
Did you finish your homework?
Do you want to play catch?
Will you drive me to school?
Why are you sad?
Where is my computer?
When does the game begin?
How are you feeling?
Should I bring a lunch?
Would you like a cookie?
Use a question mark (?) at the end of an asking sentence. An asking sentence is called a question.
