1252. Indefinite Pronouns – everybody, everyone

An indefinite pronoun replaces a non-specific noun. Use the words everybody and everyone when you don’t know exactly who you are talking about.
It seemed like everyone I know was at the party.
I hope everybody had a good time.

Use everyone and everybody to replace a noun when you don’t know the exact person you are talking about.
