976. The Phrase

In English, a phrase is a group of at least two words that does not include a verb.
Here are some sentences that include a phrase:
In the morning, we will take a walk.
Bob, the man next door, has a tan puppy.
Next week, the students have final exams.
That box of flowers needs to be delivered.
After tomorrow, the days get colder.
As you can see, a phrase can come anywhere in a sentence. The group of words that makes up a phrase always gives more information.
