762. Capitalize the Titles in People’s Names

Sometimes we place a title in front of a person’s name. Just as we capitalize the person’s name, we must also capitalize the person’s title. Here are some common titles:
Mr.
Mrs.
Miss
Ms.
Rev.
Dr.

I visited Dr. Masson yesterday.
My new teacher is Mr. Ramm.
Our neighbor, Mrs. Duncan, baked cookies for us.
The pastor at our church is Rev. Johnson.

Honorary titles of names should be capitalized.

▶Now you try it. Find the title of a person’s name that should be capitalized in this sentence. I wrote a letter to mrs. Hart. Did you find the word that is the title for a person? Good for you.
