752. Turn an Noun into an Adjective with -ful

Some adjectives are formed by adding the letters –ful to the end of a noun. Look at these examples:
fear – fearful
beauty – beautiful
law – lawful
joy – joyful
care – careful
wonder – wonderful

Here are some sentence examples using the adjectives to modify a noun:
December is the most wonderful time of the year.
Janet has a beautiful house.
The fearful dog hid behind the door.
The careful carpenter nailed down the new floor.

We can sometimes make an adjective by adding –ful to a noun.
