68. Future Progressive Tense

Future progressive tense is also called future continuous tense.
Future progressive tense is used to show ongoing action that will happen in the future and continue for a length of time.

When writing in future tense, we add the helping verb will to the main verb
Future tense: I will save my money.

In future progressive, we add -ing to the main verb and use the helping verbs will be.
Future progressive tense: I will be saving my money for a long time.

Here are some more examples:
Future: I will earn lots of money with my new job.
Future progressive: I will be earning lots of money with my new job.
Future: I will take my suitcase on the trip.
Future progressive: I will be taking my suitcase on the trip.

Future progressive tense is easy to use. Add –ing onto the verb along with will be, and you can change the meaning of the sentence.
Will with a verb says something is happening in the future.
Will be with an –ing verb says something is continuously happening in the future.
