1207. Adverbs Tell When

Some adverbs modify a verb by telling when somethings happens.
Here are some common adverbs that tell when:
today, yesterday, tomorrow, later, sooner, immediately, now, then

We sometimes place the adverb right next to the verb that is being modified.
I’ll call tomorrow to firm up our plans.
The uproar is happening now.

Sometimes, the adverb is a bit farther away from the verb.
I played a baseball game yesterday.
We will visit the museum tomorrow.
