1011. Change Noun into Adjective with -ful

There is a strong connection between a noun and an adjective. We can make a noun into an adjective by adding the suffix –ful.
The word beauty is a noun.
If we change the -y to an -i and add the suffix -ful, we get the adjective beautiful.

Here are some more examples of a noun changed to an adjective with the suffix -ful:
help – helpful
care – careful
bounty – bountiful
mercy – merciful
insight – insightful

The manager showed mercy.
The manager was merciful.

When we add the suffix -ful to a noun, it becomes an adjective.
