1008. Adjectives More and Most

The adjective more is comparative, and the adjective most is superlative.
Instead of adding -er and –est to make comparative and superlative, the words themselves are comparative and superlative adjectives.

Comparative:
I ate more cookies than my brother.

Superlative:
My dad ate the most cookies of all.

Use more as a comparative adjective. Use most as a superlative adjective.

It’s your turn. Decide if you should use more or most in this sentence blank: My class got ____ homework than your class. Did you figure out that you need a comparative adjective? Good for you!
